GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (July 18, 2014)---Fumihiro “Clint” Ohno, who previously held the General Manager position at Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Engine Division, is returning to that post as Senior Vice President to replace Naoto “Nate” Kobayashi, a company veteran of nearly 30 years, who will take a public relations role in the Motorcycle & Engine Company planning division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.

Allison, who has been with Kawasaki for more than a year, recently held the title of OEM sales coordinator, working in the division’s Grand Rapids headquarters. GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Aug. 25, 2011)---Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Engine and Power Products Division will begin rating its engines next month in accordance with SAE J2723. This marks a broad departure for the industry and Kawasaki officials believe this Critical Power rating will alleviate end user confusion over horsepower labeling and “usable” power.
Update From Kawasaki Regarding Japan Earthquake And Tsunami Effect On General Purpose Engines And Power Products Manufacturing Facilities
Kawasaki’s Akashi, Japan production facilities, and their OEM supplier facilities for handheld power products were not directly affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami that caused so much devastation in the northern part of the country. However, the company obviously relies on outside component suppliers and vendors in order to complete and deliver finished products, and Kawasaki is understandably sensitive to the issues that many of them could be facing as a result of the recent tragedy.
